Liquid Color

There are many industries and manufacturing processes that have come to rely on liquid color systems for effective, affordable color injection.

Liquid color is advantageous when:

You need quick color changes. You can go from one color to the next with very little scrap or down time for cleaning. This allows you to run many colors in a single shift.

You have lower let-down ratios: With lower let-down ratios, you can use less colorant to get the same affect as with a color concentrate or dry powder.

You have limited work space. Liquid color takes up less space for the same amount of colorant than other coloring methods.

You need processing flexibility. Liquid color can be used to correct processing errors. Liquid color coats all the pellets and mixes more easily. This decreases the occurrence of swirl marks in the product.

Tuskin’s color metering controls can be used to measure and inject any liquid. Manufacturers of silicone, fiberglass and paper are common users of liquid color systems.
